About YouthPrep
YouthPrep is an established and mature youth employment, entrepreneurship and leadership Programme that creates opportunities for marginalized and underserved Nigerian youth aged 18 – 35. By working with various local incubation hubs, the private sector and the government, YouthPrep matches young people’s ambitions and career goals with the needs and opportunities in the labour market. YouthPrep aims to support motivated young people lacking access to decent work and opportunities through skills training, on-the-job support and business incubation coaching.

The Core Life Skills Training
Youth from low-income backgrounds will join a 5-day, in-person core life skills program across our hubs in the Federal Capital Territory, Abeokuta, and Kano City. Others can access a 3-week online version. Unselected individuals receive weekly newsletters with offers, training links, and opportunities. After the training, participants take a self-test assessment. Based on the results, they’re admitted to employability or social entrepreneurship training.

Employability Skills Training
Are you looking to be gainfully employed? We deliver a 5-day in-person, 10-module employability training across our hubs. The self-paced online version is delivered in 3 weeks. Furthermore, our employability training participants will be admitted into a 3-week mentorship program, creating a leadership pathway and possible internship, volunteering, and job placement opportunities. This will include helping to review job goals, CVs, Cover letters, and online profiles, and improving social behaviors or habits that attract employers. Cloneshouse and its other entities will employ some promising young people in each cohort.

Entrepreneurship Skills Training
Are you looking to start a sustainable business? We deliver a 5-day in-person, 10-module social entrepreneurship training using our Competency-based Economies through Formation of Enterprises (CEFE) adapted course. The self-paced online version is delivered in 3 weeks. Social entrepreneurship training participants will be admitted into a 3-week mentorship program, creating a leadership pathway and starting a business opportunity. This will include helping to review the business canvas, start-up budget, business plan envisioning financing (business bank account) and legal status (formalization), starting the business with a Minimum Viable Product, and linking entrepreneurs with other business incubation hubs. Cloneshouse and its entities will happily support the most promising entrepreneurs with office spaces.
